Salam, good afternoon.

So umm, 6 days left before kena balik uitm so um yea..the assignments yang banyak gila belum habis lagi so yea gotta rush to finish all the assignment dah ni.

I don't own a light box so here's the tip on tracing without a light box haha. Pergi mana mana cermin , In my case I guna the sliding door and make sure ada light source lah -that is the sun, duh? .(tak boleh buat during the night time unless u guna lampu or whatevs) .. and tara ! It works for me . Rasa macam best pula buat tracing sambil berdiri sambil tengok the view sambil dengar lagu Ingrid Michaelson hehe :P

Then after siap all the tracing , kena colour guna greyscale markers pula. I guna Prisma and Kurecolor, kena mix both brand cause cari prisma but banyak kedai dah out of stock so yeah . Ni yang problem sikit, belum betul betul pandai in blending the colours lagi , so macam tak berapa smooth lagi sebenarnya ni. Banyak kena touch up lagi .

Masih ada a few lagi yang kena siapkan, later dah complete insyallah I'll post it here.

I'll be home a week for my mid term break. So yeay walaupun ada tons of assignments but tak sabar nak start sebab semua best best.

So , last week I did a vector drawing on Adobe Illustrator . Walaupun tak ada basic and all, but with the help from my super awesome lecturer and also the friends yang willing to ajar me with the tools and all , alhamdullilah myvector drawing turns out to be okay.

So here are some of the process on completing a vector graphic.

But to tell u the truth , I prefer doing things manually . Lagi puas, however its fun to learn something new .

Tiba- tiba terasa nak update blog malam malam ni. Yelah , sementara masih ada dekat rumah.

Well, esok dah nak balik UiTM. Barang semua dah siap pack, this time to me, memang boleh dikatakan sikit lah, tak sebanyak last sem semua benda dalam rumah nak angkut sekali haha.

Tapi taktau lah orang pandang macam banyak juga ke apa kan.. who cares.

Macam malas sangat nak balik. Tak puas lagi cuti , rasa sekejap sangat.Dahlah tak dapat tengok breaking dawn next thursday :( Tu yang kena balik next weekend ni. Heck, kalau ada chance memang dah plan nak balik every weekend pun padahal.Tapi takpe , cuti a month ni dah dapat tengok a few movie , and boleh dikatakan semua pun best !

Its been a while since I last post something on my blog.Have been pretty busy(with some other stuff).. even tho exam was over. *yeay* So , instead of posting only picture like I usually did, this time I will really type something... Well something I've been saving in my draft for ages. So here we go..

Sorry to say lah. Lemme just spill it out right here, right this instant. There are still a few bunch of shallow minded people living in this era. Yes, i repeat .. this creature still exist !

And this post bukanlah a ticket for me to marah or kutuk anyone , cuma I'm here to explain about my course to anyone yang interested lah kan.

Sorry again. *kalau terasa lah.*

WHY GRAPHIC DESIGN ?

Btw, fyi. I am once a science student. Cuma tak minat punya pasal , pasal tu sekarang dah jadi an Art and Design student. Alhamdullilah, so far study semua okay.Plus , I have always been interested in art. I draw a lot , and graphic design allows me to explore the many different aspects of art and how they apply in today's world. Moreover , it allows me to make a living from something that I have loved as a hobby all my life. (I'm talking about the future plan.)

WHAT DO I STUDY?

It teaches me on how to express ideas ,through hands on methods and software like photoshop and it also teaches how to harness innate creativity and put it to good use. And from my experience (during the first semester ) -those who are interested, y'all better be prepare for the sleepless nights and tight deadlines ! Not to forget ,when proposed ideas are rejected.. "The moment to remember !" fyi, when an idea is rejected , getting a new and better one can be difficult. However , this tight assignment schedules also challenge my time management and work efficiency.

THE CHOICES. (from google! ) -Who will employ you?

Advertising agencies, design studios, magazine/ publication houses ,brand and identity consultant agencies , corporate in-house design divisions , greeting card companies, department stores/shopping malls, color separation /printing companies , PR and event companies. or worst come to worst design institution as a lecturer.

Ini some lah, can google more to know more. hehe

Looking ahead.

My aim is to further my studies abroad and expose myself to new designs and techniques.

*I'm interested in becoming an art director or creative director in an agency. ehem, I will challenge myself to do so, insyaallah. ( I have a loooooooong way to go and there are still plenty of time for me to decide what and who do I want to work with in the future)

-so u might probably just skip this part. haha

Finally to u guys out there , my advice would definitely be to follow your heart. If you are unsure of what to do , start somewhere-good things happen if you allow yourself to accept opportunities.

Last Sunday Birthday adik bucuk tersayang.

Tak dapat balik rumah cause ada photoshoot for my final project. Hari ni dah balik rumah. Nikmat weh nikmat~. To me, there is no other place that is better than my crib. (only that, now the living room is like my second bedroom -.-") heh. Well, Aliza was all happy and yeah she greet me with her new bike this morning. Bonjour les gens , Good morning :)

uhm, hari ni first day puasa , first time sahur dangan friends without the family :')

After sahur terus on lappy siapkan notes for class esok.

hmm what else? ohh yeshh, Last Saturday night ada acara penutupan SUKOL (sukan kolej) dekat UiTM London ni. I joined the cheer competition.

*tapi bukan yang gedik gedik lompat lompat with mini skirt tu ye , yang ini uitm style punya type of cheer. And guess what ? we won the first place !! heheh , Bangga gila sebab boleh kalahkan the guys punya college "Tuah" yang orang kata terror sangat. Plus, we as the "newcomers" ni dah berjaya kekalkan the title champion in cheer competition for 3 semester in a row ! bangga tak bangga, punya lah semangat malam tu dengan blue jersey nya, memang macam police !

Another University program.

Lendu race , it is one of the activity for the english week. So four of us, Tiqah , Mira and Izzati and me represent our class for the race. Sangat sangat penat , and I was sweating like crayhh-zy maynn.

Walaupun we need to count the windows at rumah tamu , solve some riddles , makan wasabi,muka kena conteng ,penalty kena lari 2 laps dekat parking lot, kaki sakit ..

and walaupun "ter" kalah , it was so much fun !

Sekarang ni , I have soooooooo much assignments that need to be completed and submit by next week so no time for a long post.

Wednesday , 23 June. Dah a month pun belajar kat UiTM Alor Gajah. Walaupun busy gila, but so far so good ~ alhamdulillah. So today , I went for a University program especially for the art and design student about Usop Kopratasa a Talk show on Seni Visual ,Satu persembahan, Satu pengalaman. Sangat interesting, cara dia cerita about his past , inspired me in many ways.. cara dia start dari bawah sampai apa dia dah jadi sekarang . And the way he talk, dengan ada live music on ukulele and guitar, the atmosphere dalam dewan jadi lagi best with the support from all the students .Oh , and I dapat his signature ! yeay (walaupun menyesal gila tak bawa camera and sketch book :( boohooo )

Today : Had a movie date with mama before I leave for UiTM tomorrow .Watched Nur Kasih The Movie. For a RM 9 (student price) it was totally worth it !

My review on the movie:

Kabir Bhatia is such a great director well.. after Arwah Yasmin Ahmad. (I'm talking about local film directors only here ) . Film ni best , and for me sesuai ditonton age 12 years old dan ke atas , pasal maybe budak budak will be bored lah as this movie tak ada scene happy langsung except scene Mia je.Sedih memanjang~ Memang siapa yang nak test tahan air mata , should watch this movie haha.

Cerita ni , banyak aspek aspek kekeluargaan dan banyak juga menyentuh tentang Islam. It shows , that life isn't always that easy. Ada juga watak sampingan in this film yang menunjukkan perangai melayu-melayu zaman sekarang. Ada yang tak open minded langsung, Ustaz yang tolak untuk ajar those problematic teenages cause dorang tak tutup aurat and bercampur lelaki dan perempuan in one class. Then siapa lagi yang nak guide dorang ni ? And melayu yang mind terlebih open as I said before is Jehan Miskin yang bangga nak bangunkan night club dan mempunyai pendapat bahawa minum arak is not a big deal , siap cakap melayu lain tak open minded pulak. Another lesson to be learn from this movie is , kita bila bila masa je boleh menemui ajal.Ajal datang tanpa mengira masa. Cuma amalan je entah cukup entak tak nak berhadapan dengan Yang Maha Esa kelak.

I also loves most of the quotes from this movie. oh oh , and also the soundtrack. And the scenery in this movie..breathtaking.. Awesome job Mr Kabir Bhatia !

Slack cerita ni emosional sangat je, kurang balance ..antara scene happy and sedih.

Well, to those yang rasa malay movies tak ada class , mengarut and so on.. then tengok jelah cerita Pirates of the Caribbean, or any english movies.. go ahead.

Tapi seriously , the storyline sangat bagus , and to the "malays" yang tak pernah tengok movie melayu should try and watch this movie.

Out of ten stars , from my point of view , I bagi 8 stars .

UiTM tomorrow, wish me luck ! Hopefully planning esok semua berjalan dengan lancar and tak ada barang tertinggal.. amin hehe.

Sikit kannn? Bertolak ke Melaka esok pagi pagi buta. Hopefully dekat UiTM Melaka the wifi is okay so I can at least update my blog about my University Life dekat sana as I did in Linton dulu dulu. Have been a bit busy lately. Uruskan hal UiTM and stuff. Angkut barang from my previous college. Ulang alik from kl to mantin. Siap siapkan barang yang nak bawa, settlekan payment dekat Bank Islam, yadayadayada ..

So.. 5 days left.. for me to enter a University life. Excited, nervous tu dah kurang sikit sebab dah ada 3 months experience dekat IPTS dulu .

Yes, I've made my decision , from science stream to art stream. Benda yang betul betul I minat. Tak kesah lah apa orang fikir , takda masa depan and so on.. to me ..semua tu orang yang tak open minded, I've made a few research, and ramai je orang orang art yang success.

I am learning to accept the reality. I'm done caring about what people says.. A big thanks to my parents for the support they gave me , I'm one lucky girl ,hihihi :B

Apape pun, I really need to study hard , be strong dengan apa je challenge yang ada nanti, compete with the others (ramai sangat yang super creative yang dah jumpa masa interview hari tu) and .. finally make my parents proud of me, insyaAllah.

And to those yang nak menjejakkan kaki ke menara gading juga, Good luck and all the best to you guys :) Study hard ,remember nothing is Imposible ! :B

A friend i met in Mantin , the first one I approached with a single "hi" , Thanks for being a great friend ! Monday , May 9: Medical Check Up at Damai Hospital, Taman Melawati.

Keluar rumah jam 9 pagi . Hantar Syirin dulu dekat LRT station , pasai dia nak balik mantin and finish her test. Bukan macam I ni. Terus relax balik duduk rumah. Makan, tidur , well .. online.Yup sepatutnya today memang ada computer application test and also QTI for driving class, my last 2 hours on road before JPJ. Tapi.. tangguh lagi since masa tak mengizinkan.Mama suruh balik rumah sebab dah comfirm nak pindah from linton to UiTM melaka Alor Gajah , yey yey yey .

Back to the topic, medical check up. Alhamdulillah , I'm fine, sihat walafiat.

Buat urine test, x ray , check my eyesight , timbang berat badan, ambil my height, jumpa doctor, check blood pressure. That's it.

Cuma sekarang ni, kena jaga makan sikit lah, berat dah naik masa duduk dekat Linton.

What to do? memang kena admit, makanan kat sana banyak choice, and boleh tahanlah. Chinese food, malay food, Indonesian , pakistan, arab. Memang macam macam ada. Yelah ramai international student kan dekat sana.

Lepas pergi Damai Hospital, breakfast dengan mama dekat breadties.. Only a few shop lots away from Damai Hospital ! The sandwich boleh tahan lah,ma order a plate of BBQ tenderloin, (it is the restaurant top favourite !)

a combination of O brien's and subway. Tapi tak boleh lawann lahh kan. hehe :B

but one thing I really love about breadties is their shop surrounding , the interior design of the shop. So cuuuun !

Then, mama decided to head over to Jusco Wangsa Maju , nak cari lugage bag since mama will be attending a meeting at some hotel around Kuala Lumpur. Mama found a black crocodile bag, with a great offer , apa lagi beli lah.

Jalan jalan sikit, then ada lagi offer, nampak this huge red Beverly Hills bag. (last set) , with a great offer + good condition +1 year warranty. SO, what more can you ask for?! End up balik rumah with two luggage bag! :)

currently tutoring my little sister with her mathematic homework ! and she finally understand how to divide numbers ! yeay me for my old style techniques .muahaha :>

Went for a ceramah on Penyakit Psikitrik and Mistik -Histeria by Ustaz Bukhari bin Khadam ! veryy interesting topic for a discussion !! and ohh myy memang terasa University life sangat,respond yang sangat baik from the students. So cool wehhhh. Bukan macam zaman sekolah punya ceramah, bila dah habis dia tanya" ada soalan?" Ramai gila berebut nak tanya, memang kelakar . ramai juga yang share experience dorang. yelah, alam ghaib memang wujud. lagi lagi we as a muslim memang kena percaya benda ni as it is also one of the rukun iman.

I'm now munching my roti cream vanila for breakfast , listening to Lupe Fiasco : The show goes on and obviously blogging.

So ,yesterday pergi Ikea with Syirin , Papa and Mama for our late lunch.Next, head over to Harvey Norman (typical papa). hehe, Papa bought his stuff, I jalan sorang sorang pergi Toy R Us. Danggg, dah besar besar pun memang I suka gila lah masuk Toy R Us. Bought a few googly bands. suuuuu cutttteee ! Love the colors and the adorable shapes ! I call it,the magic bands ;)

So , last night concert was AH-MAYYYY-ZING! Except part traffic jam and hujan. Wet sneakers, wet socks, kena park kereta jauh gila. Well I should blame it on Bieber. His fans was like, mashAllah .. semangat gilaa kot with the banners and stuff. Tapi sedih gila tak boleh bawa masuk stadium end up kena pijak je dekat luar. Seriously , millions of people wehhhh.I enjoyed the concert, dancing and singing along with the crowd was fun :)

Salam and helloooo earthlings :) So semalam I tertidur time time maghrib, penat sangat , 1 whole day duduk library siapkan assignment. -__- Then around 2 Syirin bangunkan, ajak pergi kedai. Rasa macam lama siaa tidur from 7 to 2. I pun siap siap lahhhh, then bila keluar bilik, tengok balcony I was like super shock its actually 2am not 2 pm. rupanyaa I lost track in time. lol.

So the conclusion now is, JANGAN TIDUR TIME MAGHRIB YEEE. hehe , It is 6 am now . Dah bangun tidur dari 5 tadi. This is my daily routine, bangun awal then boleh online cause internet laju time orang semua tidur. Lucky me I don't have any class this week , pasal ini exam week.UUU, did I mention I don't have exams too? suuu cuuull right ? hihih :B

Esok pagi I balik rumah, insyaAllah. After Syirin finish her test. Because Khamis ada tuttttttttt. I'll blog about this Thursday in my next post okayyy.

Gonna blog about my weekends.
Yesterday was okay. I went for an interview at UITM Shah Alam at the art and design Faculty. Mayyynn the place was damn crowded, thousands candidates, only half will be chosen . The interview went well alhamdullilah. I need to pray hard so I'll be accepted in the first intake which will be around June , if I'm not mistaken. UH, ada drawing test! so fun :)Met some new friends too, ramai gila yang talented and some have veryyy unique personality. Fun to watch, nama pun budak arts kann.
Next, balik rumah makan makan makan, tidur.

Today
Did nothing. Oh went to the cinema at wwm to watch never shout never 3D ! with Mama and my 8 years old sistah. The movie was okay jerlah. Nothing special sangat pun. *Cause I'm not his big fan sangat pun, almost nak tertidur at the end of the movie, yolah I don't feel well today, sore throat , headache ,flu . yeah 3 in 1 , comes in a package . great huh :(

1. I dah ngantuk sebenarnya , baru balik kl today all the way from nilai. Traffic jam macam gila tadi, sho tired.

2. I need to go for an interview at uitm S.Alam tomorrow. Tapi parents I macam lagi excited.I nervous, tak sempat nak prepare apape sangat.uuuu, wish me luck !

3. assignments are almost done. Bahagianya hidup kalau dapat siapkan semua.

4.Next week midterm, tapi course I dikecualikan. muahaha, Good luck sistah and kawan kawan yang ada exam. Kasihannn delo ~

5. Went for a midnight movie yesterday. watched a horror movie ,senjakala. seeeee-kaaa-ri!

Balik rumah dapat jumpa my baby ojil gemuk ni. hehe :}

So, I balik Kl semalam, just to take my kebaya nyonya for the event on this Thursday. Did I mention , I went back alone? hehe, yesss. Alhamdullilah selamat lagi sampai rumah. Syirin tak boleh ikut balik cause dia ada class today while I pula memang free on wednesday so sempat lah balik.

Ohh, for the spm leavers '10 dah boleh check tau uitm. I dah check , dapat UITM Shah Alam, kena pergi this Saturday for the interview. Memang- best- dah lah ada test and replacement class dekat my current college.Nak pergiiii, try try je . Mama bilang rugi kalau tak pergi. Well ..I'll think bout it later.. #dilemma :/

Petang ni as usual, ada driving class. (lembs kan tak dapat license lagi ?!) sabar sabar. My instructor is an old chinese guy, yang kadang kadang kabut sikit , buat I jadi lagi panic masa tengah drive.

Lepas ni kena breakfast, and get ready cause around 10.30 kena pergi lobby untuk rehearsal untuk event Monday and Thursday ni.

umm, so I kinda miss my adik adik at home. Dah lah tak balik masa birthday Syafiq last week :(

So semalam Syirin and me dah balik to our campus. Oh ingat /tahu tak Harian Metro kan ada buat gimmick hantu dekat Pertama Complex dan depan Sogo sempena ulang tahun yang ke 20 from the campaign BIAR BETUL ?!. Tapi yang atas tu bukan gambar dari harian metro , tapi itu gambar dari hostel kami.muahahaha :>

OH tak tak, kami bukan nak buat gimmick Harian Metro. Kami juga bukan part of their team. haha, kami buat ini untuk menyambut kepulangan seorang housemate yang sangat dinanti natikan, Farah. Atau panggilan manja B. heheheh

Mula mula punyalah semangat semua dah tutup lampu, (siap tutup kipas sekali tak tahu apa motif ?-.-) lepastu hide dekat balcony rumah. Macam earth hour sey kami bergelap around 4 minutes. Lepastu kami dapat tahu si B belum sampai lagi Kl Central. Semua hampa, so semua decide untuk turun makan dulu.

Tup tap tup tap, dapat massage that goes like..
B: Korang dekat mana?
Win: dekat rumah lah. (padahal tengah rushing gila nak balik rumah)

*B dah menjerit satu block tak sempat bawak masuk bag siap panggil neighbours teman masuk rumah. Hahahahahah, kitorang pulak dari park duduk intai intai, padahal B dah ada depan mata, sambil cekak pinggang. Huih, apa lagi lari bertempiaran lah dekat tengah tengah court. hahahahaha, ketawa sambil tak ingat dunia , a moment that i can't forget lahh ni. So fun takut kan orang.

Minggu ini saya sangat sibuk like a bee. buzz . Oh dah dapat results spm, oh dah lega. Oh bersyukur kepada AllAH dengan apa yang I dapat. Alhamdullilah :)
So now dah sambung pun belajar, ambil course pulak yang memang tak ada kena mengena dengan apa yang belajar masa secondary school.

I am now an aava student, ambil degree in graphic and illustration. But kena buat foundation for a year first pasal tak ada kelulusan stpm or A levels.For more info, click ze heart ♥

OMGGGGGG, bukan stands for Oh-memang -gempak but Oh-memang gila. Okay merepek pagi pagi, memang menjadi routine kehidupan sekarang.

After hmm 14 years, = 3 years tadika +6 years primary school +5 years of high school.. Tomorrow will be the day ! okay nak omg lagi sekali.Hari ni pun dah tak boleh duduk diam, pusing pusing satu rumah sambil tanya semua orang like, "rasa kakak dapat berapa?" omg omg.. nervous okayyy. Satu je benda, I need to be ready to expect the unexpected. Ini lah akibat tak belajar betui betui dulu, so padan muka I. haaa, setepek.
